With an all-out effort, Åseda IK's Robert Pedersson threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henrik Markusson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Åseda IK's Folke Smed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Löfgren in the 74th minute of play. Folke Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Markus Löfgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Folke Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Ahlin in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Håkan Ahlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
