Kasper Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Valler in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Johnny Wiberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norsborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Wiberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasper Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Axel Caspersson kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Arvin Mellin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vännäs IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvin Mellin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 22 in the game by Arvin Mellin from a close distance when the talented Alvar Carlsson managed to make a qualified save. Norsborg's players were relieved. If Johnny Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Norsborg booed when Vännäs IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Vännäs IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Valler came free, but Kasper Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Vännäs IK got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Forssell. Birger Pettersson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birger Pettersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Birger Pettersson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Norsborg's Johnny Wiberg got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Molander made a kick off. When Henrik Hääger fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vännäs IK's protests and gave Henrik Hääger a yellow card for diving instead. Henrik Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Alvar Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvin Mellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Norsborg's Johnny Wiberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasper Dahlbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvar Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Molander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Arvin Mellin made a precise shot to the right of Alvar Carlsson. Norsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
