Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hannis Pojkar's Erik Brenner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andreas Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Brenner in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uno Mårtensson saved Marieholm IF from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, Hannis Pojkar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Billing to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Bryngelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Hultstrand in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kalle Strömberg got free with Uno Mårtensson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Hultstrand in the 20th minute of play forced Hannis Pojkar's goalkeeper Kåre Bryngelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Charles Hultstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marieholm IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Hultstrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Bryngelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kåre Bryngelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Hultstrand struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. The referee ignored Marieholm IF's protests and gave Marcus Eklund a yellow card for diving instead. The Marieholm IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
