Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joakim Skröder started the match with the kick off. Sven Eliasson hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Gunnar Bagge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Ginga's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Västerberg came free, but Gunnar Bagge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Östen Västerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Wiberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Bagge having to interfere. Östen Västerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niklas Wiberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Bagge having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Östen Västerberg made the kick off in the second half. Thor Lundström's late challenge caught a Ginga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thor Lundström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Thor Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hallstahammar IK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sven Eliasson hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ginga's Stig-Arne Sörman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 59th match minute, Hallstahammar IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Lundström to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ginga's Stig-Arne Sörman tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Östen Västerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Bagge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Johan Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
