Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Per-Olof Ekeroth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Östen Västerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Philip Sjöö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Sjöö came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Hallstahammar IK's Niklas Wiberg. But to his dismay, Niklas Wiberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Niklas Wiberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Philip Sjöö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hallstahammar IK's zone, Per-Olof Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Frisk came out of the goal and Per-Olof Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Wiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Östen Västerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Philip Sjöö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melker Hafström kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar IK's Niklas Wiberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Sjöö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johan Frisk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Ekeroth in the 28th minute of play. Ture Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Johan Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Frisk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Jakobsson in the 31st minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Gustav Öberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hallstahammar IK and the Molkom players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Hallstahammar IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Molkom:s goal. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Molkom. Rickard Boklund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johan Frisk. 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Ture Jakobsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johan Frisk. Hallstahammar IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ture Jakobsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ture Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Östen Västerberg to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Gert Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Molkom and the Hallstahammar IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hallstahammar IK booed when Molkom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Östen Västerberg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Philip Sjöö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hallstahammar IK. During the 58th minute of the match Gert Hermansson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gert Hermansson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 59th match minute, Molkom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Wiberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Philip Sjöö could save by the left post. Östen Västerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Sjöö having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Jakobsson in the 65th minute of play forced Hallstahammar IK's goalkeeper Johan Frisk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ture Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Ture Jakobsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johan Frisk was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Västerberg got free with Philip Sjöö in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thor Lundström hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Molkom were awarded a corner. Rickard Boklund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Molkom's Rickard Boklund to fire away a dangerous shot which Johan Frisk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Östen Västerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Frisk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Per-Olof Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Molkom had won after a very even match.
