Kasper Uggstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Bank in the 6th minute of play forced SouthSideSquad's goalkeeper Kasper Uggstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SouthSideSquad getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Anders Mattsson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Bank in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasper Uggstedt saved SouthSideSquad from getting behind. After having played for 11 minutes, Henry Winström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SouthSideSquad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Winström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SouthSideSquad getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Henry Winström hit a great ball. Tobias Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eskil Nord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Sjöberg in the 22nd minute of the match. SouthSideSquad's Kasper Uggstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Kråk in the 23rd minute of play. Kasper Uggstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Bank in the 26th minute of play. Mönsterås's Michel Bank got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Henry Winström notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mönsterås's Eskil Nord. Eskil Nord was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johan Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eskil Nord took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Hedström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eskil Nord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Mönsterås's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Egon Söderquist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Kasper Uggstedt acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ralf Jakobsson. Egon Söderquist kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Eskil Nord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Winström in the 66th minute of the match. SouthSideSquad's Henry Winström has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 70th minute. Eskil Nord made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egon Söderquist in the 71st minute of play. SouthSideSquad's Egon Söderquist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erik Överman in the 73 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Söderquist in the 73rd minute of play forced Mönsterås's goalkeeper Eskil Nord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Kasper Uggstedt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anders Mattsson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Egon Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Nord saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Johan Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SouthSideSquad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mönsterås's zone, Anders Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eskil Nord came out of the goal and Anders Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Henry Winström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eskil Nord was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mönsterås's Göran Kråk got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SouthSideSquad had played much better football throughout.
