Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Helge Dalkvist made the kick off which started today's match. Conny Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Dalkvist's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Vallda IK's Erik Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Alströmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vallda IK's Conny Lund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Vallda IK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 15 minutes, Erik Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Sundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elliot Häger's late challenge caught a Vallda IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliot Häger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, TRIUMF GLASS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Häger to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Henry Eliasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilbert Alströmer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Osvald Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Erik Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Alströmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emil Byström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Alströmer was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Gilbert Alströmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Sundström's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Birger Tönnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gilbert Alströmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vallda IK's Karl-Ove Gulliksson got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Osvald Lundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Tönnberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vallda IK's zone, Helge Dalkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Lund came out of the goal and Helge Dalkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Byström made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Erik Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Sundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Alströmer having to make a save. When Emil Byström came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Vallda IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Byström couldn't finish the play. Gilbert Alströmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Byström in the 67th minute of play. Erik Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Emil Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Alströmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Erik Vennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, TRIUMF GLASS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erik Sundström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilbert Alströmer made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Erik Sundström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Byström in the 88th minute of play forced TRIUMF GLASS's goalkeeper Gilbert Alströmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Vallda IK were awarded a corner. Henry Eliasson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TRIUMF GLASS's goalie and right to Stig-Ove Åström. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TRIUMF GLASS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. TRIUMF GLASS's Gilbert Alströmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Byström in the 93rd minute of play. If Erik Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vallda IK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
