Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jimmie Sjögren got the match started through his kick off. When Hagfors IF's Sven-Erik Paulin in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valsjöbyn's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute, Jimmie Sjögren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hagfors IF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jonas Rönn hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Sven-Erik Paulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valsjöbyn's Tor Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tor Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Sjögren in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Hagfors IF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jonas Rönn hit a great ball. Ove Olofsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Peter Vallgren made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christer Ahlén during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Valsjöbyn booed when Hagfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Ahlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valsjöbyn's Ove Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 43 in the game by Ove Olofsson from a close distance when the talented Peter Vallgren managed to make a qualified save. Hagfors IF's players were relieved. In the 49th minute, Tor Lundström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hagfors IF's Peter Vallgren didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ove Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Peter Vallgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valsjöbyn. Valsjöbyn's Bertil Blomberg pulled a muscle in his leg after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tord Kruuse's late challenge caught a Valsjöbyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tord Kruuse helped the player get up and apologised. Tord Kruuse hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes, Valsjöbyn's Tor Lundström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Vallgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valsjöbyn reached it. In the 62nd minute Ove Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Brian Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Erik Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tor Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Hagfors IF's Jimmie Sjögren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tor Eklund. Tor Eklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Peter Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Lägdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Brian Hellsing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hagfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Hellsing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Erik Paulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tor Eklund made a huge save. Sven-Erik Paulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hagfors IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
