Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alvar Borre kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Kärna IK booed when Svedala BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Salkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Borre in the 8th minute of play forced Svedala BF's goalkeeper Rolf Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Borre might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolf Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvar Borre ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tommy Stenström fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svedala BF's protests and gave Tommy Stenström a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Stenström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Kärna IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Björnberg to maneuver through the defense. Evert Stenquist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Henriksson in the 25th minute of play forced Svedala BF's goalkeeper Rolf Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Stig-Ove Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svedala BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Sundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolf Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Borre, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Nils Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Sundström in the 32nd minute of the match. Stig-Ove Sundströms short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Nils Backman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute Alvar Borre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolf Sundström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronny Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Svedala BF's Stig-Ove Sundström got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ronny Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kärna IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Svedala BF got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Stenström. Alvar Borre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 minutes of play Kärna IK's Fredrik Björnberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 48th match minute, Kärna IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Björnberg to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Stig-Ove Sundström made the kick off in the second half. Nils Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Sundström in the 54th minute of play. Svedala BF were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Kärna IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evert Stenquist took the corner. Evert Stenquist made a great header on Svedala BF's corner, it was just that Kärna IK's Nils Backman managed to reach the ball for a save. Stig-Ove Sundström struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nils Backman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svedala BF. If Jan-Ove Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kärna IK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Inge Pihl hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
