With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Nyberg in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hjalmar Björkdal saved Forsvik FF from getting behind. In the 40th minute Emil Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Bodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Verner Åman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horred BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Åman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Forsvik FF's Hjalmar Björkdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Nyberg in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, John Almstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horred BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forsvik FF the free kick. John Almstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birger Nyberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Jönsson got free with Fritz Bodin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peder Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Bodin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Forsvik FF's Per Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 56th minute. Horred BF's Nils Jonasson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Forsvik FF. Fritz Bodin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Horred BF's Fritz Bodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Horred BF from getting a goal against them. Fritz Bodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Odén in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Nils Jonasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hjalmar Björkdal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christer Fågel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Björkdal having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Verner Åman in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hjalmar Björkdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Verner Åman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Verner Åman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Björkdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Horred BF's goalkeeper Fritz Bodin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Jönsson. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Forsvik FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
