An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Klint in the 38th minute of play forced Förslöv IFK's goalkeeper Börge Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ivar Ek could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Börge Berglund however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Knut Rosendal charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Knut Rosendal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Sandsjöfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Rosendal to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sandsjöfors had played much better football throughout.
