The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Ström was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Ström in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pontus Björkdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pontus Björkdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joakim Vacker's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Mathias Ström made a precise shot to the right of Pontus Björkdal. Sandsjöfors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ivar Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandsjöfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Blomquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charles Dalberg's late challenge caught a Sandsjöfors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Blomquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 95 minutes of play Sandsjöfors's Jesper Hjortberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Särö IK booed when Sandsjöfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Hjortberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Särö IK fully deserved thier win.
