The referee ignored Tanumshede's protests and gave Magnus Rudkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Magnus Rudkvist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Ek in the 19th minute of play forced Tanumshede's goalkeeper Eric Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Tanumshede's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Ek came free, but Eric Granberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magnus Rudkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Hansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When Tanumshede's Oskar Palm in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gunnarn's goalie prevented a goal.

With a little luck, Gunnarn's David Hansson got control of the ball when Magnus Rudkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gunnarn's David Hansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Gunnarn from getting a goal against them. Oskar Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Palm in the 89th minute of play forced Gunnarn's goalkeeper David Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnarn's Arne Ek managed to work through Tanumshede's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Arne Ek dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tanumshede's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
