The referee showed Torsten Brandin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes FC BEASTS got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Brandin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Ek in the 4th minute of play forced FC BEASTS's goalkeeper Kurt Boman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Pålsson in the 7th minute of play forced Gunnarn's goalkeeper David Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gunnarn's Arne Ek in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BEASTS's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Pålsson during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, FC BEASTS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Pålsson to maneuver through the defense. Arne Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25thth minute of the game Peter Brolin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BEASTS's Kurt Boman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Charlie Ivarsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kurt Boman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the FC BEASTS defense, Peter Brolin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Boman. The FC BEASTS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Boman should have stopped the shot. Kurt Boman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC BEASTS's zone, Arne Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Boman came out of the goal and Arne Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Söderkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kurt Boman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Gunnarn got a freekick which was hit by Emil Ahlqvist. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kurt Boman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Brolin in the 55th minute. Peter Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Boman having to interfere. A hard shot 62 in the game by Peter Brolin from a close distance when the talented Kurt Boman managed to make a qualified save. FC BEASTS's players were relieved. Arne Ek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Brolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Brolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kurt Boman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Brolin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Gunnarn's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Arne Ek took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Kurt Boman to make any attempt to save it.
