The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ture Alegren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Brolin got free with Elof Alén in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Gunnarn's Arne Ek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elof Alén. Elof Alén yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Elof Alén was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arne Ek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 95 minute of play. When the match was over Gunnarn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vita Hästen throughout the match.
