When Eskil Nyström fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamrångefjärden's protests and gave Eskil Nyström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Hamrångefjärden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Nyström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Färjestaden's Johannes Söderkvist got a free kick in the 39th minute. Evert Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Färjestaden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torbjörn Sander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hamrångefjärden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
