Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hedenhös FC's Åke Rönn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kurt Burman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Josef Brogren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedenhös FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunnemo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hedenhös FC's Josef Brogren got a free kick in the 5th minute. Wilhelm Rosin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Henric Kellberg made a huge save. Sunnemo's Edmund Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Gustafsson in the 7th minute of play. Edmund Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Rönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Charlie Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Rönn in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Osvald Odeen fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunnemo's protests and gave Osvald Odeen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hedenhös FC booed when Sunnemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Odeen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Gustafsson in the 17th minute of play forced Sunnemo's goalkeeper Edmund Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Blomberg's late challenge caught a Hedenhös FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Blomberg helped the player get up and apologised. Douglas Blomberg kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Alfons Skog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedenhös FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunnemo the free kick. In the 29th minute, Kurt Burman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Charlie Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Hedenhös FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Hedenhös FC's Henric Kellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Burman in the 34th minute of play. Douglas Blomberg was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Sunnemo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Douglas Blomberg hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Kurt Burman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sunnemo's Osvald Odeen got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Rosin to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Jens-Erik Bergqvist put in a rough tackle. In the 52nd minute, one of Hedenhös FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hedenhös FC. Henric Kellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Rosin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Wilhelm Rosin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunnemo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Rosin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Henric Kellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilhelm Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Falck struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Edmund Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hedenhös FC. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
