Gilbert Melin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tobias Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dingle's Fredrik Caspersson got control of the ball when Leif Ambjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Tänndalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Tomas Sundling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Melin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Dingle's Fredrik Caspersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Dingle from getting a goal against them. Bengt-Arne Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Nyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Bo-Erik Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th play minute Leif Ambjörnsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fredrik Caspersson. 1-0. Tänndalen's Patrik Rosin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fredrik Caspersson but with some difficulty. Dingle's Fredrik Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Wallin in the 37th minute of play. Tobias Nyman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Arne Åström's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Dingle's Fredrik Caspersson got control of the ball when Leif Ambjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dingle's Mattias Broman got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Bengt-Arne Åström made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dingle's Tage Grep got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 61st minute, Bengt-Arne Åström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Torgny Stephansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Stenquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fredrik Caspersson. Dingle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dingle's zone, Leif Ambjörnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Caspersson came out of the goal and Leif Ambjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dingle's Fredrik Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Wallin in the 67th minute of play. When Bengt-Arne Åström came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dingle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Åström couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Leif Ambjörnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fredrik Caspersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Dingle booed when Tänndalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo-Erik Wallin in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredrik Caspersson saved Dingle from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Dingle's Tobias Nyman threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bengt-Arne Åström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 83 minutes into the match, Dingle's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Ambjörnsson came free, but Fredrik Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tänndalen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Gilbert Melin scored to the left of an out of position Tobias Nyman, making the score, 2-1. Fredrik Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo-Erik Wallin in the 94th minute of the match. Leif Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fredrik Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dingle players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tänndalen.
