Juventus FC's players were relieved. 12 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's Edvin Jelm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calle Almqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Hampus Stabbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hägersten IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hampus Stabbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lennart Månsson's late challenge caught a Hägersten IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Månsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Månsson. The long shot by Erling Johansson in the 17th minute really tested Knut Jespersson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Juventus FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hampus Stabbe 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Leonardo Busk kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Hampus Stabbe scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Knut Jespersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hägersten IFK's Emil Trillkott got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hampus Stabbe in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Knut Jespersson saved Juventus FC from getting behind. Emil Trillkott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Knut Jespersson made a huge save. A collision led to Juventus FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lennart Månsson hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes Hägersten IFK got a freekick which was hit by Philip Utfal. After 39 minutes of play, Juventus FC's Sven-Ove Alström made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calle Almqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calle Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Alström in the 44th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Ove Alström to make the kick off. When Hampus Stabbe came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Hägersten IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hampus Stabbe couldn't finish the play. Calle Almqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvin Jelm in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hampus Stabbe in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knut Jespersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Knut Jespersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Trillkott in the 74th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Hampus Stabbe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 82 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hampus Stabbe came free, but Knut Jespersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Juventus FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Juventus FC's Sven-Ove Alström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Juventus FC's Lennart Månsson got a free kick in the 96th minute. Erling Johansson, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee ended the match the Hägersten IFK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
