Bertil Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Wållander in the 40th minute of the match. Mats Kalfhage took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petter Tolsson. Petter Tolsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Torsten Skarkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petter Tolsson was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Skarkman in the 60th minute of play forced Vartofta IK's goalkeeper Petter Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Wållander in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Skarkman in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petter Tolsson saved Vartofta IK from getting behind.
