After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alexander Stigsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inwardo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Stigsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Erik Billström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, Fritz Siggman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hasslö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inwardo FC the free kick. 43 minutes into the game, one of Hasslö:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Stigsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Per Burman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Stigsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nils-Erik Billström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Inwardo FC booed when Hasslö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Vallengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Inwardo FC's Otto Björling got a free kick in the 76th minute. Isac Winström's late challenge caught a Inwardo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Winström helped the player get up and apologised. Hasslö's Nils-Erik Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Sandell in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Hasslö's Nils-Erik Billström got control of the ball when Per Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Per Burman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inwardo FC's Alexander Stigsson managed to work through Hasslö's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alexander Stigsson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Per Burman might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Erik Billström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Burman ran back to his position shaking his head.
