Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Västerstrand kicked off to start the match. Jens-Erik Gallberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Asklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Ove Asklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Tomas Västerstrand lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated David Willig. After a rather tough play, Brastad IK's Ove Asklund got a free kick in the 15th minute. Tomas Västerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Willig having to interfere. Benjamin Björk shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ove Asklund scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Erik Gallberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Ove Asklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brastad IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tomas Västerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. David Willig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Forserum got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Björk. David Willig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Västerstrand in the 43rd minute of play. Jens-Erik Gallberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joachim Arvidsson's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ove Asklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Casper Wästerberg's late challenge caught a Brastad IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Wästerberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Brastad IK booed when Forserum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Wästerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Västerstrand in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forserum's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Gallberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Willig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Biörnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Joachim Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Gallberg having to interfere. When Joachim Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Brastad IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. The Brastad IK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brastad IK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
