Sakarias Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakarias Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eric Söderqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Wennersten in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Helsingborg FF's goalkeeper Eric Söderqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ralf Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Jakobsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Folke Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Wallander made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Torgny Damm sent off a good shot on target. Folke Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Söderqvist having to interfere. Eric Söderqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Wennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 43 played minutes The Farmer´s got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Sellberg. Ralf Wallander was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Karl Löfgren. The Helsingborg FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Farmer´s were winning 0-1.

The Farmer´s's Ralf Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Jakobsson in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Torgny Damm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Helsingborg FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Farmer´s the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Helsingborg FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Damm to maneuver through the defense. Max Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Stefan Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Marc Alegren from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Eric Söderqvist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 76th minute of the match Sakarias Lund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf Wallander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Helsingborg FF booed when The Farmer´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Alegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Andreas Jakobsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ralf Wallander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Helsingborg FF's Eric Söderqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Wennersten in the 90th minute of play.
