If Benjamin Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Asklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Asklund in the 17th minute of play forced FC Smisk's goalkeeper Samuel Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Fernström hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gert Biörling hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Christopher Bure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Rasmus Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute, FC Smisk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Billvall to maneuver through the defense. Tom Löfgren missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Samuel Stenström right hand side. In the 38th match minute, FC Smisk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Smisk booed when Herrljunga IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malcolm Giliusson was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 62 minutes, Robin Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herrljunga IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Benjamin Nordström came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Smisk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Nordström couldn't finish the play. Rasmus Karlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasmus Karlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Smisk's Rasmus Karlsson got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gert Biörling hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Victor Bengtsson fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herrljunga IFK's protests and gave Victor Bengtsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Herrljunga IFK! The referee gave FC Smisk a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gert Biörling, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Herrljunga IFK's Isak Unesson. 2-0. FC Smisk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
