Isak Unesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Jakobsson in the 14th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Helsingborg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Giliusson came free, but Eric Söderqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Herrljunga IFK's Malcolm Giliusson in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eric Söderqvist was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Helsingborg FF through an amazing save. In the 31stth minute of the game Malcolm Giliusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Helsingborg FF's Eric Söderqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Bengtsson's late challenge caught a Helsingborg FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Malcolm Giliusson fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herrljunga IFK's protests and gave Malcolm Giliusson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Helsingborg FF booed when Herrljunga IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Giliusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Giliusson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eric Söderqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herrljunga IFK. For all the effort they put into the match, the Helsingborg FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Herrljunga IFK.
