The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yngve Johnsson was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Georg Bengtsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mönsterås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Månkarbo the free kick. After 57 played minutes Mönsterås got a freekick which was hit by Georg Bengtsson. Leo Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yngve Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game Per Broberg kicked a great long shot which passed Jonas Eklund straight ahead into the goal, Result 0-2. One couldn't see Per Broberg behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Claes Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Håkansson having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Leo Colin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
