After 5 played minutes Ljusfallshammar BF got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Sjöman. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Benjamin Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hemmingsmark BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Samuelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Hemmingsmark BK's Sivert Nordlander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Samuelsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Sivert Nordlander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hemmingsmark BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sivert Nordlander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Ljusfallshammar BF's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Axelsson came free, but Ingvar Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Sivert Nordlander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingvar Samuelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benjamin Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Kjellman having to interfere. With a little luck, Hemmingsmark BK's Andreas Kjellman got control of the ball when Andreas Nordkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Hemmingsmark BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tom Nordström hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ljusfallshammar BF's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Axelsson came free, but Ingvar Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Sivert Nordlander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Nordlander in the 42nd minute of play. Ljusfallshammar BF's Ingvar Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Nordlander in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikael Axelsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Andreas Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kjellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hemmingsmark BK's Sivert Nordlander got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ljusfallshammar BF's Ingvar Samuelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Ljusfallshammar BF from getting a goal against them. Mikael Axelsson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Kjellman. Andreas Kjellman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mikael Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Kjellman having to interfere. In the 67th minute Mikael Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kjellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Ljusfallshammar BF got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Mattsson. Benjamin Axelsson took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Samuelsson. Ingvar Samuelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sivert Nordlander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Samuelsson having to interfere. Ingvar Samuelsson was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Sivert Nordlander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sivert Nordlander really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The supporters of Hemmingsmark BK booed when Ljusfallshammar BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Samuelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Axelsson in the 85th minute. Ingvar Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Nordlander, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Mikael Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Axelsson got free with Ingvar Samuelsson in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th match minute, Ljusfallshammar BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Vikström to maneuver through the defense. The Hemmingsmark BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hemmingsmark BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
