Hultsfred FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limmared the free kick. Magnus Liljeström hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Gottfrid Blom, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aleksander Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Vidar Kruse made a huge save. Vidar Kruse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aleksander Ekström went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute Robert Högström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hultsfred FF's Vidar Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Klemensson in the 14th minute of play. Aleksander Ekström struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Vidar Kruse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limmared. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Klemensson in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vidar Kruse saved Hultsfred FF from getting behind. Limmared's Robert Högström got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wiktor Klemensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jörgen Brovall scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svante Söderström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Wiktor Klemensson got free in front of the goal in the 32nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vidar Kruse was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Limmared got a freekick which was hit by Per Allbom. The attack was good, but when Wiktor Klemensson in the 44th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Wiktor Klemensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hultsfred FF's Vidar Kruse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Wiktor Klemensson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vidar Kruse. Wiktor Klemensson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörgen Brovall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kent Wållander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Svante Söderström made a huge save. Hultsfred FF's Vidar Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Klemensson in the 58th minute of play. Robert Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vidar Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hultsfred FF's zone, Aleksander Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Kruse came out of the goal and Aleksander Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vidar Kruse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Klemensson in the 73rd minute of play. Hultsfred FF's Vidar Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Klemensson in the 82nd minute of play. Limmared's Wiktor Klemensson got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Hultsfred FF's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Klemensson came free, but Vidar Kruse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aleksander Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Wiktor Klemensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Granström kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Robert Högström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limmared's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Högström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Limmared's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
