When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kurt Berg sped through Filma Muta Skjuta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egil Källberg. After a defensive mix-up in Filma Muta Skjuta's zone, Kurt Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Källberg came out of the goal and Kurt Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Åke Lindqvist hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Alf Åberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Filma Muta Skjuta's Alf Åberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th match minute, Hultsfred FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Kinnman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hultsfred FF's zone, Daniel Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Kruse came out of the goal and Daniel Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Hellström might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidar Kruse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jon Hermansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vidar Kruse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute Jon Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Kruse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Filma Muta Skjuta booed when Hultsfred FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hultsfred FF's Vidar Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hellström in the 40th minute of play. Filma Muta Skjuta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Hellström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon Hermansson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Brovall in the 55th minute of play forced Filma Muta Skjuta's goalkeeper Egil Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hultsfred FF's zone, Alvar Nordlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidar Kruse came out of the goal and Alvar Nordlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Berg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Kurt Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hultsfred FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Berg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Filma Muta Skjuta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Åberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Kent Wållander sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Filma Muta Skjuta's Egil Källberg didn't even have to move. Jörgen Brovall might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egil Källberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörgen Brovall ran back to his position shaking his head. Vidar Kruse was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Jon Hermansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jon Hermansson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Egil Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Brovall in the 81st minute of the match. Jörgen Brovall scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egil Källberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Egil Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hultsfred FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Filma Muta Skjuta for a fine match.
