When Jens-Åke Lange fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millwall's protests and gave Jens-Åke Lange a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Millwall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Lange to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Fernkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Höijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Millwall's goalkeeper Sven Löv, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tommy Wiklund fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Junsele BF's protests and gave Tommy Wiklund a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Junsele BF's Tommy Wiklund got a free kick in the 15th minute. Arman Västlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Millwall's Robin Höijer fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 29 minutes into the game, Millwall's Ian Fridlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Fernkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sven Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stellan Ahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ingmar Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Stellan Ahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Löv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stellan Ahlberg struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Sven Löv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junsele BF. 40 minutes into the match, Junsele BF's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Västlund came free, but Daniel Fernkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Ingmar Stenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Junsele BF and the Millwall players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Junsele BF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ingmar Stenberg hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Stellan Ahlberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven Löv, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Stellan Ahlberg made the kick off in the second half. Ingmar Stenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Junsele BF's Jerry Lange got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Robin Höijer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Fernkvist. Robin Höijer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Junsele BF's Ingmar Stenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Löv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arman Västlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Daniel Fernkvist made a huge save. Stellan Ahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Löv having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Ahlberg in the 76th minute of play forced Millwall's goalkeeper Sven Löv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingmar Stenberg in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Löv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Junsele BF's Alfred Söderström got a free kick in the 84th minute. Junsele BF's Daniel Fernkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Junsele BF from getting a goal against them. Arman Västlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Daniel Fernkvist made a huge save. The Millwall supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Millwall would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
