The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Sten Hermansson put in a rough tackle. In the 8th minute, one of Albanian Eagles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Albanian Eagles. Villiam Alebom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Peter Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villiam Alebom got free with Peter Tinglöv in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Valdemarsvik BF's zone, Konrad Backlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Tinglöv came out of the goal and Konrad Backlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thor Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Villiam Alebom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albanian Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Villiam Alebom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Tinglöv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Wästerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, one of Albanian Eagles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Albanian Eagles. Thomas Wästerberg went to the wrong direction when Malcolm Lindmark was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Åkerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Valdemarsvik BF's zone, Villiam Alebom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Tinglöv came out of the goal and Villiam Alebom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mårten Kielberg scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Tinglöv, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Villiam Alebom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Peter Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Villiam Alebom came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Albanian Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villiam Alebom couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Åkerman in the 71st minute of play forced Albanian Eagles's goalkeeper Thomas Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thor Åkerman kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Valdemarsvik BF's Bernt Thidén got a free kick in the 97th minute.
