An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mager in the 11th minute of play forced Romelanda FF's goalkeeper Sten Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Skytt in the 14th minute of the match. Sten Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Högberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Edward Mager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Andreasson having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Sundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Lind having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Sven-Edvin Sundin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 36 minutes of play, Ljung's Edward Mager made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sten Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olof Lind made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Sven-Edvin Sundin sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Melker Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Morgan Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ljung getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dan Alén hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Jarl Skytt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 84th match minute, Ljung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Skytt to maneuver through the defense. Kaj Pilgren's late challenge caught a Romelanda FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaj Pilgren helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Ljung got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Pilgren. Ulrik Biörnberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olof Lind. Ljung's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Romelanda FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Tinglöv to maneuver through the defense. Romelanda FF's Sten Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Högberg in the 94th minute of play.
