Erling Petersson's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Max Myhr on his right side and into the goal. 34 minutes into the game it was 1-0. Gustav Hellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Philip Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Simon Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Svanesund BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Olsson came free, but Max Myhr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Palm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Sjögren might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Palm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Sjögren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62 played minutes Svanesund BK got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Arenius. After a rather tough play, Svanesund BK's Ivar Odin got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gustav Hellqvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 69th playminute. Gustav Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Palm having to interfere. Svanesund BK's Simon Sjögren got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustav Hellqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Philip Palm made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Svanesund BK's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Vallin came free, but Max Myhr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Myhr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Ekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Svanesund BK's Adrian Bjurström got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Adrian Bjurström off the ground. The supporters of IFK Norrköping booed when Svanesund BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Bjurström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Svanesund BK's Simon Sjögren got a free kick in the 90th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
