The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Bohlin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ola Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ola Olofsson was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Gällstad IK's zone, Ola Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Bohlin came out of the goal and Ola Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. When Christer Billberg came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gällstad IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Billberg couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Blue Fish FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Billberg came free, but Charlie Ahlbeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Timmy Brolin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue Fish FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gällstad IK the free kick. Timmy Brolin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
