Knut Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Nordin in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Stenkarns IF got a freekick which was hit by Arne Lindqvist. Pontus Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Knut Bjurström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Stenkarns IF's goalkeeper Knut Bjurström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pontus Örtendahl. The supporters of Bergkvara FK booed when Stenkarns IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pontus Örtendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christopher Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Stenkarns IF booed when Bergkvara FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Almstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christopher Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christopher Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Bergkvara FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Nordin couldn't finish the play. If Pontus Örtendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stenkarns IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Christopher Nordin scored to the left of an out of position Knut Bjurström, making the score, 1-0. Bergkvara FK's Christopher Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Knut Bjurström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Marko Bredberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Kevin Björkdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute Marko Bredberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Odén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Bergkvara FK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Björkdahl. Christopher Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Bjurström having to interfere. Knut Bjurström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pontus Örtendahl's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Knut Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Nordin in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Stenkarns IF's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Nordin came free, but Knut Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Christer Odén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christopher Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Christopher Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Gustaf Willig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stenkarns IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergkvara FK the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Stenkarns IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bergkvara FK:s goal. Bergkvara FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
