In the 4th minute, Filiph Västerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göran Stenquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Vollander having to interfere. If Gustaf Majman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Hasslarp RK got a freekick which was hit by Mats Viberg. Billinge BK's Sune Sundberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hasslarp RK. Billinge BK's Gustaf Majman got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Stenquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kjell-Arne Vollander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Axel Alefors kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Filiph Västerberg's late challenge caught a Hasslarp RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiph Västerberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Billinge BK's Filiph Västerberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. Billinge BK's Kjell-Arne Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Stenquist in the 38th minute of play. Claes Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Billinge BK defense, Göran Stenquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell-Arne Vollander. The Billinge BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell-Arne Vollander should have stopped the shot.

In the 51st minute, Stig Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hans Rosendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Karl-Axel Alefors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billinge BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Alefors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Billinge BK's zone, Göran Stenquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Vollander came out of the goal and Göran Stenquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hasslarp RK booed when Billinge BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Patrik Wästerberg shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Billinge BK's Kjell-Arne Vollander to catch but Patrik Wästerberg was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Malm got free with Kjell-Arne Vollander in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Hasslarp RK booed when Billinge BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Malm struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Kjell-Arne Vollander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hasslarp RK. Kjell-Arne Vollander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claes Malm in the 76th minute. Hans Rosendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Lönn having to interfere. Göran Stenquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell-Arne Vollander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Billinge BK's Kjell-Arne Vollander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Billinge BK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Billinge BK's Kjell-Arne Vollander got control of the ball when Mats Viberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Göran Stenquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Vollander having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hasslarp RK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
