The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan-Erik Lundqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Erik Lundqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Sidensjö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Ahlroht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Collin in the 9th minute. If Filip Vallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nossebro RK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Karl Nordlander hit a great ball. Olle Rosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Thomas Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Kilman during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nossebro RK booed when Sidensjö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Kilman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Vallman in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Rosen saved Nossebro RK from getting behind. Marcus Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Olle Rosen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sidensjö IK. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Karl Nordlander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nossebro RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Nordlander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Ahlroht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Sidensjö IK's Leonardo Ahlroht got control of the ball when Östen Collin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nossebro RK's Niclas Josefsson in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sidensjö IK's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 minutes, Karl Nordlander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nossebro RK and the Sidensjö IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nossebro RK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Karl Nordlander hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Josefsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Leonardo Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the match Pelle Dahlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Ahlroht skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Sidensjö IK's Jan-Erik Lundqvist got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Östen Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Jan-Erik Lundqvist was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th minute Östen Collin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Josefsson in the 72nd minute of the match. When Nossebro RK's Östen Collin in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sidensjö IK's goalie prevented a goal. Thomas Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Nordlander in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Ahlroht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Östen Collin scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Ahlroht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Paul Strömbom fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nossebro RK's protests and gave Paul Strömbom a yellow card for diving instead. Paul Strömbom hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Östen Collin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Leonardo Ahlroht was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nossebro RK's Olle Rosen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nossebro RK from getting a goal against them. Nossebro RK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
