When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Strömsund FK's Ulf Linquist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kjell-Arne Löfkvist. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Larsson during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Larsson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Nils Dahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsund FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Dahlbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. William Stenström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Björklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Fold HK's Kjell-Arne Löfkvist got control of the ball when William Stenström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Stenström to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Björklund in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Eliasson having to interfere. Sven-Ove Stålberg in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claes Eliasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, William Stenström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsund FK's supporters rose to their feet, but William Stenström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Löfkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Helge Harman in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell-Arne Löfkvist saved Fold HK from getting behind. Sven-Ove Stålberg in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claes Eliasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Strömsund FK's Claes Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Björklund in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Sven-Ove Stålberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
