Strömsund FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Börje Nilsson scored to the left of an out of position Claes Eliasson, making the score, 1-0. When Nils Dahlbom fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsund FK's protests and gave Nils Dahlbom a yellow card for diving instead. Claes Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Nilsson in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Strömsund FK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. William Stenström hit a great ball. Nils Dahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Strömsund FK's Claes Eliasson got control of the ball when Sebastian Gallberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Strömsund FK's goalkeeper Claes Eliasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Gallberg. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Nilsson made a kick off. Claes Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Gallberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Stenström got free with Alexander Bergström in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Strömsund FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Gallberg came free, but Claes Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Eliasson having to interfere. Ronny Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Gallberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Strömsund FK's goalkeeper Claes Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ringarum's Sebastian Gallberg got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sebastian Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Börje Nilsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Strömsund FK's Claes Eliasson. Claes Eliasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Sebastian Gallberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Eliasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. William Stenström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Oskar Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Bergström went to the wrong direction when Ulf Linquist was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Strömsund FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
