With his leg Viktor Stenberg managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Desperados FC's Börje Pedersson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 11 played minutes Desperados FC got a freekick which was hit by Jens Knutsson. Birger Trillkott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Viktor Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Birger Trillkott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Stenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Stenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Trillkott, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Gustaf Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Värnamo's zone, Börje Pedersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 35th minute, Börje Pedersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desperados FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tor Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Gustaf Lange was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desperados FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Värnamo the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Gustaf Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desperados FC's Tor Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Gustafsson in the 43rd minute of play. If Börje Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaf Gustafsson was the one to do the kick off. After 59 played minutes Värnamo got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Gustafsson. Gustaf Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Lindström having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Gustaf Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Värnamo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Gustafsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Värnamo's Joel Walroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Börje Pedersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gustaf Gustafsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tor Lindström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaf Gustafsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens Knutsson during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Värnamo booed when Desperados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Knutsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Värnamo's Gustaf Gustafsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tor Lindström. That made the score 1-1 after 80 minutes of play. Viktor Stenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Trillkott in the 84th minute of the match. Tor Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Värnamo booed when Desperados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Lange didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Joel Walroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Värnamo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Walroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes of play Desperados FC's Gustaf Lange was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tor Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
