The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Johansson during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Hazel Stars got a freekick which was hit by Alex Johansson. In the 16th minute, one of Hazel Stars:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hazel Stars. Niclas Vassenius shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Gustaf Gustafsson struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Tage Aleberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Värnamo. 21 minutes into the match, Hazel Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Walroth came free, but Tage Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Värnamo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jimmie Stål hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Rutger Carlsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Stenberg skillfully saved the ball. If Joel Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hazel Stars's Valter Hjelm got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Niclas Vassenius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tage Aleberg skillfully saved the ball. Valter Hjelm charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valter Hjelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Valter Hjelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Stenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Christer Stenquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Stenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Alex Johansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Värnamo's Viktor Stenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tage Aleberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Walroth in the 64th minute. Viktor Stenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Stenquist in the 67th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Torsten Högström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Johansson took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Stenberg. In the 81st match minute, Värnamo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Stål to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Värnamo's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Hjelm came free, but Viktor Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Gustafsson in the 90th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Tage Aleberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alex Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
