Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gällnöby's Casper Vikström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Forsberg got free with Ragnar Örtendal in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Filiph Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ragnar Örtendal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Vikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ove Forsberg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ragnar Örtendal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Tommy Wennersten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aston Villa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gällnöby the free kick. Casper Vikström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Örtendal having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Kilström in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristoffer Östensson saved Gällnöby from getting behind. Robin Almstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Almstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Robin Almstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristoffer Östensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Wall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristoffer Östensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiph Wall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johan Kilström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Aston Villa FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Robin Almstedt hit a great ball. During the 67th minute of the match Robin Almstedt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Robin Almstedt a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 70 played minutes Gällnöby got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Hedin. If Ove Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Johan Kilström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristoffer Östensson. Johan Kilström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Gällnöby defense, Johan Kilström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristoffer Östensson. The Gällnöby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristoffer Östensson should have stopped the shot. Ragnar Örtendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Vikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Johan Kilström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kristoffer Östensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Aston Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Forsberg came free, but Ragnar Örtendal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Vikström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aston Villa FC's Ragnar Örtendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Forsberg in the 96th minute of play. If Ove Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aston Villa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
