Vilhelm Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes, Jack Vikström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bajen boys and the Gällnöby players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Gällnöby a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Torsten Strömqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bajen boys's Jörgen Njurenius. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Stephansson got free with Kristoffer Östensson in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Casper Vikström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Njurenius was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Kristoffer Östensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Vilhelm Stephansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vilhelm Stephansson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Ove Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Östensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Siggman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gällnöby's goalie and right to Anders Kilberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gällnöby's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tim Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Gällnöby got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Hedin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Stephansson got free with Kristoffer Östensson in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Casper Vikström made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Vilhelm Stephansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tim Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vilhelm Stephansson came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Bajen boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilhelm Stephansson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Gällnöby's zone, Vilhelm Stephansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Östensson came out of the goal and Vilhelm Stephansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vilhelm Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Vilhelm Stephansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gällnöby's Kristoffer Östensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jimmy Vedholm's late challenge caught a Gällnöby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Vedholm helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Bajen boys got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Vedholm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Stephansson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristoffer Östensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Siggman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kristoffer Östensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Stephansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Tim Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Östensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Östensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Siggman went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Despite being the better team, Bajen boys failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
