The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Boman got free with Aron Aleberg in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Shurda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Stolpe came free, but Aron Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Shurda FC's Per Beneth seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Per Beneth the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Shurda FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Per Beneth had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Fågelfors. Ingemar Morat stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aron Aleberg. 1-0. Örjan Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Örjan Kellbom to make the kick off. Jörgen Boman hit a great ball. The Fågelfors support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
