In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gunnebo RK's goalkeeper Henning Löfdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gunnebo RK's Henning Löfdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Trulsson in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Sollerön's Gunnar Lång sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Löfdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Trulsson got free with Henning Löfdahl in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Sollerön's Jan-Erik Trulsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henning Löfdahl. Henning Löfdahl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jan-Erik Trulssons short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Henning Löfdahl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th minute Jan-Erik Trulsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Löfdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Gunnebo RK's Henning Löfdahl got control of the ball when Gunnar Lång tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henning Löfdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Trulsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnebo RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sollerön the free kick. The supporters of Sollerön booed when Gunnebo RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Löv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Erik Trulsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sollerön's zone, Niklas Dahlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Granberg came out of the goal and Niklas Dahlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Boström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Albert Granberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Niklas Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Lång in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Löfdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sollerön's Jan-Erik Trulsson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niklas Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sollerön's Gunnar Lång got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Erik Trulsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute.
