Vilgot Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Trulsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Åke Pålsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Hedin having to interfere. Christian Hedin made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Calle Billing sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute Jan-Åke Pålsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Hedin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Stål charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Stål the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Werner CF booed when A.C. Ferizaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Stål didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Werner CF's zone, Filip Trulsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilgot Nordström came out of the goal and Filip Trulsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calle Billing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calle Billing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Hedin having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 51 minutes, Calle Billing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Werner CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Billing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filip Trulsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Anton Benett dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vilgot Nordström, 0-1. 61 minutes into the game, Tomas Sandell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C. Ferizaj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Werner CF the free kick. A collision led to A.C. Ferizaj getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. When Tobias Helström fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Werner CF's protests and gave Tobias Helström a yellow card for diving instead. 80 minutes into the match, Real Werner CF's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Trulsson came free, but Vilgot Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Tomas Sandell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Hedin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Billing, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Torsten Stål kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Calle Billing made a precise shot to the right of Christian Hedin. A.C. Ferizaj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
