The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hampus Häll during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Magnus Igelström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hultsfred IK's Karl-Johan Berg. Karl-Johan Berg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars-Erik Brandin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Hultsfred IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Hultsfred IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lingbo RK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magnus Igelström made a kick off. Sixten Mickelsson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Viktor Örtlund kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Hultsfred IK's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Berg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Hansson. If Magnus Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, one of Lingbo RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hultsfred IK's Karl-Johan Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Igelström in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute Lars-Erik Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Igelström in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Jonas Sandberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hultsfred IK and the Lingbo RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Tobias Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magnus Igelström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Berg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Brandin in the 98th minute of play forced Lingbo RK's goalkeeper Ralf Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hultsfred IK had won after a very even match.
