Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Verner Ekrot started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Hestra's Martin Hellbom got a free kick in the 5th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Nässjö IF's Albin Björnberg tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Verner Ekrot struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jimmie Hellqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hestra. After having played for 10 minutes, Kent Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hestra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Kjellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kent Kjellkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmie Hellqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Kjellkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. If Sten Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Ahlqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jimmie Hellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Kjellkvist in the 22nd minute of play. Hestra were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Nässjö IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esbjörn Finsberg took the corner. The corner led Hestra's Esbjörn Finsberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Jimmie Hellqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kent Kjellkvist scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmie Hellqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Nässjö IF's Anton Nordin got a free kick in the 29th minute. Kent Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Hellqvist having to interfere. If Verner Ekrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Hellström got free with Helge Engström in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimmie Hellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Kjellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jimmie Hellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Ekrot in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Simon Svensson made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Svensson in the 53rd minute of play forced Hestra's goalkeeper Helge Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Simon Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vilgot Ivarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilgot Ivarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hestra's Vilgot Ivarsson got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Verner Ekrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmie Hellqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Kjellkvist in the 62nd minute. Jimmie Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Ekrot in the 64th minute of the match. A hard shot 67 in the game by Kent Kjellkvist from a close distance when the talented Jimmie Hellqvist managed to make a qualified save. Nässjö IF's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Hestra's zone, Simon Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helge Engström came out of the goal and Simon Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Hestra's Verner Ekrot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmie Hellqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Pär Säf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nässjö IF's Jimmie Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Kjellkvist in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Nässjö IF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aaron Lindberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nässjö IF's zone, Kent Kjellkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmie Hellqvist came out of the goal and Kent Kjellkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alf Pedersson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hestra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Pedersson couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Simon Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nässjö IF's Jimmie Hellqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nässjö IF from getting a goal against them. Hestra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
