In the 4th minute Patric Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Linquist succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Olof Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Patrick Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Gulliksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harry Björkdal having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Kruuse during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Pajala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pajala's Åke Hedling got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Mattias Gulliksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Björkdal was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Vitå IK's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Hedling came free, but Harry Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Anders Valrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Anders Valrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Linquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Harry Björkdal made a huge save.

The wind increased when Mattias Gulliksson made the kick off in the second half. Pajala's Sven-Erik Jonasson managed to work through Vitå IK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sven-Erik Jonasson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Vitå IK's Christer Skarkman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zebastian Ivarsson, made in the 68th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Allan Viklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitå IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Viklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Vacker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 played minutes Vitå IK got a freekick which was hit by Anders Valrot. 77 minutes into the game, one of Vitå IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Pajala a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mattias Gulliksson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vitå IK's Harry Björkdal. 2-0. Frank Linquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Harry Björkdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pajala's Leonardo Kruuse got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Leonardo Kruuse off the ground. Leonardo Kruuse hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Hedling in the 90th minute of play forced Vitå IK's goalkeeper Harry Björkdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernt Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vitå IK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Christer Skarkman hit a great ball. Sven-Erik Jonasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harry Björkdal having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pajala fully deserved thier win.
