Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Alefors ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th match minute, Linderöd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Örnberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Sune Ugla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linus Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Viktor Månsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linderöd. 21 minutes into the match, Limhamns IF's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Haegg came free, but Viktor Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Alefors in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Linderöd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. August Mattsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Limhamns IF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Limhamns IF's corner August Mattsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olov Haeger quite easily take care of the ball. Aaron Alefors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Olov Haeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Limhamns IF booed when Linderöd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Örnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Limhamns IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Folke Björkman hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Limhamns IF's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Haegg came free, but Viktor Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Haegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, Limhamns IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Strömberg in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Månsson saved Limhamns IF from getting behind. Viktor Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Folke Haegg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Linderöd's Linus Strömberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viktor Månsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 56 played minutes Linderöd got a freekick which was hit by Sune Ugla. If Aaron Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Folke Haegg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linderöd's supporters rose to their feet, but Folke Haegg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Månsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Fagrell kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Haegg in the 76th minute of play forced Limhamns IF's goalkeeper Viktor Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Haegg in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Månsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Linus Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Månsson having to interfere. Olov Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Alefors in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Linderöd defense, Aaron Alefors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Haeger. The Linderöd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Haeger should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Linderöd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
